When it's time to say goodbye

We have a goodbye coming. We don't know when - we don't know the plan. Not even sure if there is a plan but we know it is coming. Every time the phone rings I think is this it - the call that says the goodbye is near. We have little hearts that are sad and hearts that are too young to understand. We are offering out lots of hugs even though most of the day is spent with my heart in my throat. We smile and fight back tears and we hold on to our God who is holding this situation. We don't know the whys and don't need them. We know the journey will continue and we will get through this and continue to walk it with joy. Sometimes it is when the hurt comes that we see God the clearest.
